Fayle runs to a short shaft that sits above the ankle, with a patterned knit band running around it in brown and cream. The band is the detail that separates this from a plain suede boot, and it sits at the fold line for a reason: you can turn the top down to shorten the boot and expose the sheepskin lining, or leave it up for full coverage.

The cow suede upper is lined in sheepskin wool through to the insole, so the wool sits against the foot whichever way you wear it.
